New gpu for my brother

My brother has £140 to spend on a gpu.

 

I found a ASUS GTX 960 DC2OC Strix for £140, should he do it? :-)

I don't think it will be a seriuos bottleneck be gather more info on this because I'm not sure

the phenom is close to the performance of a FX8350 so on the 970 (am3) board i would not upgrade to anything.... rather wait for zen or go intel

I would say a used 7950. It has 3GB vram.

it wont be a massive bottleneck but there will be some
