Who in your family has the fastest pc.

gibbsy81

That is a terribly wrong presumption. I know Linus, i know the forum. It was just a joke, i don't understand why everybody takes it so serious. :D I didn't even pay my own PC completeley. :-P

It happens a lot. That's why I over-react. Not just PC gaming and everything. Own anything nice and people just assume your parents bought it. Oh the pains of being 16 :(

Feel free to message me if you want to chat!

Although I agree people are very spoiled. You shouldn't say that my rig is around 2,500$ and I paid for it all myself my parents bought me my case for my birthday that was it. I also drive a mustang gt 2004 I also pay for that myself 300$ a month and I just turned 18. So yes people are very spoiled but people like me who work hard for their stuff take that to offense. On another note I have the fastest.

Me by a long way. No-one else cares about having a fast pc.

My dad won't upgrade because if he gets a pc with more memory, then he will not bother closing windows when he's done with them, as his pc will be able to deal with it. He reckons this would make him a less efficient user

p.s. He's on a centrino laptop with 2GB of RAM

Well actually, you should have added at least one "me" in the paid for their pc option to be fair. I paid for every last pc in my parents house.

In my family overall I have the best pc, in my cycle of friends? me, in my apartment? me. did I pay for everything? yes (even most of my friends parts). am I upgrading soon? yes, I am getting another 660 Ti and a Z77 board that allows sli and then maybe giving my little bro my 2500k and z68 board and pop in his 3570k (as is he can't overclock so it would be a boost for him as well from an H75 board and I payed for everything in his rig) or I'll just keep the 2500k and put a celeron that is in my closet in the z68 board.

Since I paid for all the PCs, I guess I have the 3 first places :P
