What are your SteamVR Performance Results?

Hi Guys.

Steam has a Test Tool (SteamVR Performance Test) which show how well your PC will handle possible VR HS in the Future.

I couldnt set any Settings. I guess its 1080p. What do you think? Is this real or do we need way more Power?

Here are my Results.

It changes depending on your FPS. Basically, it's the amount of frames that were displayed during the test, so higher FPS = more frames = better.

i think Kepler isnt DX12 ready, and thus will have difficulties running any of the VR stuff for the time being. Since VR uses compute to warp the imagespace

That's so annoying. You have a nice system too.

i wonder why steam doesnt pick up on my FX being clocked at 4.62GHz, yet picks up on the clock speed of Intel CPUs no prob...

Or that i am running R9 295x2 IN CF (it works if you add -multigpu to launch option) in this test....

see above post.

Add -multigpu to command line/launch option. perhaps you will get a different score

kepler will get DX12, just not sure the drivers are ready.

Kepler CAN do compute (better then maxwell), but not without proper drivers i guess

Looks like it defaults to only using 1 GPU. I had GSync enabled, which is why my first score was so low, but disabling it only took it up to just below ready.

Adding -multigpu to the launch commands makes it use the second GPU (or appear to, as both were are 90%+ load), but the score was exactly the same as with a single GPU, so not sure what's happening there.

Depends on the type of compute I guess. My cards have double precision capabilities, so they outperform all other single GPU GeForce GTX cards in certain situations, given that the Titan X doesn't have double precision like the previous Titans.

First screenshot is of the load on GPUs (sitting at 115-130 FPS constant) without -multigpu command, then the second is of the results with -multigpu, where both GPUs are "used", even though the result is the exact same as a single card.

I got barely into the yellow with a 280x crossfire. xD

It doesn't seem to work with SLI, so it may be the same with Crossfire. Try adding -multigpu to the launch commands to see if it makes a difference. It doesn't make a difference in performance for me, just puts some sort of load on the second GPU.
