In need of a good Power Supply and Case

Eldridge Friend

Hey guys, I'm going to be building a high-end gaming PC (For gaming and Productivity/Content Creation) And I'm wondering what power supply and case goes well with this rig:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K (Overclocked to 4.7 Ghz)

CPU Cooler: Corsair H110i GTX

Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VIII HERO

Memory: G.Skill Trident Z (16 gb of DDR4 Memory; 3200mhz)

Graphics Card: Msi GTX 980 Ti Sea Hawk (Liquid Cooled meaning more power consumption; Single Radiator)

Storage: Hard Drive Western Digital BLACK - 2TB      SSD: Samsung 850 Evo - 500gb

Probably some custom LED lights wouldnt hurt as well.

NOTE: THE CASE CAN WITH OR WITHOUT AN OPTICAL DRIVE. EITHER WAY WILL DO.

Any case with ATX case with dual 140mm + 120mm rad support will work. PCPartPicker has a pretty accurate compatibility checker, if you add the H110i GTX and MSI card to your part list and then try to add cases it'll only show those (it thinks) are compatible with the cooler.

Some options:

Fractal Design Define S, ~$80

Phanteks Enthoo Pro $90-100

NZXT H440 ~$100

Any good brand 550 W or more power supply is fine.

Seasonic G 550 W (~$80) 80+ Gold

XFX XTR 550 W (~$80) 80+ Gold

Corsair CS550M (~$80) 80+ Gold

EVGA SuperNova 650 W (~$70) 80+ Bronze

PSU get any 650w XFX or SeaSonic, 659w EVGA GS, GQ or G2. If you plan on SLI go for a 850w of the models/brands I suggested.

A case, from my favorite to least though I'd choose any of them

BeQuiet! Silent Base 800

BeQuiet! Silent Base 600

Phanteks Enthoo Luxe

Phanteks ProM

NZXT H440

i7-6700k  Cooling: Deepcool Captain 240EX White GPU: GTX 1080Ti EVGA FTW3 Mobo: AsRock Z170 Extreme4 Case: Phanteks P400s TG Special Black/White PSU: EVGA 850w GQ Ram: 64GB (3200Mhz 16x4 Corsair Vengeance RGB) Storage 1x 1TB Seagate Barracuda 240GBSandisk SSDPlus, 480GB OCZ Trion 150, 1TB Crucial NVMe
(Rest of Specs on Profile)

EVGA 650GQ is a good deal for a PSU and Define S is a good case.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.

My system: PCPartPicker || For Corsair support tag @Corsair Josephor @Corsair Nick || My 5MT Legacy GT Wagon ||
