so i was playing fortnite one day and my "r" key and several other keys on my keyboard stopped working. The keyboard i have only takes redragon and akko switches so i can not just use whatever switches i want. I rlly like the akko silver pro v3s but they r 5 pin and i only have 3 pin on my keyboard. So basically my question is does anyone know a cheap keyboard body that is 65% and has 5 pin connection and is only like $15-$25. Ty

You should be able to clip the 5 pin switches down to 3 pin to fit your board if you don't want to buy a whole new body.

I agree that @Skiiwee29 has the solution here.
Just search Ebay for some flush cutters and you can make any 5-pin switch fit your 3-pin board.

guys ik i can do all the fancy stuff but ive never built a keyboard before idk how to do that stuff

… are you even reading our replies???

Grab a pair of diagonal cutters or nail clippers and clip off the 2 plastic pins to convert a 5-pin switch to a 3-pin switch.

Literally clipping your own fingernails is a more difficult and complicated task than clipping off these plastic pins.

You already know that you want the Akko V3 Silver Pro Switches, so the best solution is to convert them to 3-pin switches. Why would you waste money buying an entirely new PCB ?
