Hi!

I am planning on making a upgrade on my friends rig, and was wondering to what extent a i5-3350p would bottleneck a 970?

It will be fine for the most part though games that require fewer cores and more IPC will suffer a bit due to the low clockspeed and if your friend plays high end RAID content in MMO's there will be issues.
