What is the best piece of technology you ever bought?

3570tech

EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked, it got me into gaming on nice framerates on high settings, before that I couldn't.

Maybe my second-hand Gigabyte GTX 590. For under 300€ a great performing card... Few weeks later 660's prices dropped near 200€. Also the 590 is loud as ****.

Pretty much every tech purchase of mine has been varying form not-so-good to absolutely terrible in some way at least.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

My 290's mainly because they were actually MSRP when I got them.

I budget build well. Want to learn? PM me if you want advice.

Definitely my Sennheiser HD 595 headphones. They've introduced me into the world of high end headphones, and I'll definitely be moving up to some HD 600/650s in the future.

My sapphire 7970, seeing as it appreciated in value, not depreciated like it should of (:

Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.

As I get older I get angrier more cynical, meaner. I feel some warning posts coming. I feel a ban coming. I was warned.

My Zoom g9.2tt. Not a "techie" thing in the conventional sense, perhaps, but it doubles as an audio interface. Along with a midi cable my PC becomes a nicely streamlined guitar workstation that I can also play games and do pr0n with.

I never make any good purchase, I always regret it a week later when I see it going on sale for cheaper... or when something better comes around within a few days. Happens All The Time.

(I also don't believe that there is such a thing as a "best tech" purchase, to me, for it to be considered "best", would means that you got something for a good deal and it will still be good for at least the next 5 years, which never happens with tech)

HP ProBook 4330s second gen i5 laptop with 6 gigs of ram, all it cost me was the SSHD I put inside.

Aside from that buying my GTX 680 for the price I'd pay for a 760 here in South Africa.

but really all my tech purchases were the best at the time and I love my entire rig (though my case has a broken front panel)

Spoiler

Actually my dad bought this for me but it was a wireless HP membrane keyboard and an Acer S200HLABD. Both are now connected to my laptop and have been running well for a little over a year.

HOW DID I LIVE WITHOUT A SECOND MONITOR?

This is not the best tech deal i've got by far but i like my monitor a lot, Picked it up for $40 from a older couple and when i stopped by they were SO happy i was buying it because they were moving to holland. While i was there i asked if they had anything else to sell and the guy ended up giving me three boxes of his tech stuff including a logitech trackman that i sold on ebay for $50.
