You need to install Winows 7 Pro first, then upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. You cannot use your Windows 7 Pro key directly with Windows 10 Pro.

Just to clarify, when you clean install Windows 10 with a bootable media, you can now type in your Windows 7 key to activate it. It was a feature in the November release.

Yes, just key in your product key when it ask for it during installation.
