Corsair rebates lost in mail?

That_Random_Guy

On Dec 6 i purchased about $2200 worth of pc parts, most being from newegg and a 980ti from amazon. I chose some of the parts specifically because they had a rebate. the items had a rebate were my Rm1000x psu(which is now getting returned under warranty because like all the sata ports fried somehow) and a H110i GTX cooler(POS, dont recommend it, link ruined it). I alsoe had a rebate for my Asrock x99x Killer mobo and my nzxt h440 case.

So first things first i made sure everything was good, which at the time it was, so i did the rebates and sent all 4 of them in. I know companies take their sweet time so i dont mind waiting, but about 2/3 weeks ago i received my asrock rebate and was like oh i forgot about these and i got on my email and checked on a progress report. only asrock had mailed and corsair was on received/processing and absolutely nothing on nzxt.

Fast forward to Jan 22, i remembered again so i checked my email, still nothing from nzxt and now the corsair ones were saying mailed on the 21st, was like cool them both should be here in the next couple days.

Fast forward again today the 28th and still haven't seen them. and nothing from nzxt so im giving up on them, their site doesnt even say there was any rebates so im guessing newegg was lying or something but oh well.

But the corsair rebates shouldnt be taking a week to arrive. I can understand somethings get lost in the mail but two different rebates that were both mailed from corsair on the same date and neither have arrived, like come on. seriously.how does 2 things get lost has anyone done a corsair rebate before?

Was thinking about contacting them but then i looked at their rebate form and saw this. I underlined the part below. Its directly out of their rebate form

I just find it strange and convenient that both were mailed and both have yet to arrive. i could understand 1, but both.... So, what is your take on this?

Agreed, they won't have sent it express mail, they only do that for RMA.

mail usually takes 3 days to 5 days for mail to reach its destination here in the US, least from my expeience from mailing letters back and forth between NC and CA which is on the other coast

"Please allow 30 days to receive your rebate."

i assumed that that was from the received date they get the rebate, not from the date it was mailed from them and even so there is no reason any mail should take 30+ days once its mailed to reach a place in the same country its mailed in, different country, maybe but not a few states over

It takes a long time. I have done plenty of rebates and I only worry if it's been 3 months. I usually forget anyway and then when the rebate comes, it's a nice surprise to help buy groceries.

It depends. I got a rebate for my EVGA psu just a week after I filed. I also filed a rebate for an Asus Monitor at the same time but that didn't come until over a month later.

They always send it by slowest/cheapest route possible so just be patient :)
