Hello! I am on a mac with a 128gb ssd and used 120gb and want to upgrade. I have a budget of £1000 (GBP). i have a build but i wanted to see what other options i have.

You really don't need a Core i7 if you're just doing gaming.

Games just aren't CPU-intensive enough to justify the cost.

Focus on getting a good Core i5, and you'll save plenty of money to spend elsewhere like on a better graphics card or an SSD.

looks a solid build to me, and like people say if you could fork out a bit more for an ssd (128gb for operating system only coming in at around 50 gbp) and also if you went for the gtx 970 then it would be awesome for 1080p

There are a LOT better alternatives to a 970 at that price point and budget

Suit yourself - you lose about 35% horse power by going to a 970 from the Fury tho.
