Weird graphics glitch GTX 760

Hey guys,

I was playing CS:GO on my computer when suddenly my screen started glitching like crazy

I am not sure what it was but I am pretty sure it has something to do with my GPU.

It was fixes when I hard-restarted my computer and when I turned it on again there was the: "installing windows update" message and it restarted itself.

Specs:

GPU: GTX 760

CPU: i7 4770

Motherboard: Intel h81

Ram: 8gb kingston ddr3

Power supply: Just a generic brand, don't know exaclty

Storage: 240Gb Intel ssd & 4tb seagate HDD

OS: Windows 10

Connected devices: iPhone 6s, Razer deathadder, Samson C03U Mic, USB1 HUB :D, Medion Erazer keyboard.

Monitors: Medion monitor, Samsung S22C300

I would greatly appreciate what I could to to prevent this from happening again.

If you have a "generic brand" PSU then you should replace it ASAP.

Do you think it is the problem though? I bought the pc like this 2 years ago. And haven't changed a thing. So It means that the PSU should have enough output for the system

It's not.

Try reinstalling your drivers to a newer one, if that doesn't help than try a older one.

Try reinstalling the drivers and see if there is no overclock on the memory cuz that looks like some memory instablity to me.

Yes, I've seen generic PSUs explode in a system after 6 years of operating, in it's last weeks it killed the motherboard in a way that it would sometimes start, just not all the time. If you want a PC that operates properly you should get a proper PSU. It's the first troubleshooting step off all hardware, I don't even look at the other components if the PSU is sketchy.
