In my area someone selling a 560 for $70, and 2 460s for best offer

What would be the better choice if I can get the 460s for cheap?

neither . Fermi is kind of a bad architecture...

Already build the computer

Where are you from? And what do you have to spend? Those seem like quite high prices to be honest

@Op, If you can get the two 460's for around the same as the 560, then I'd go for it. Not much changed from the 460 to the 560 besides efficiency, and at that point simple math shows that two is better than one.

Fall River, Mass USA

Blew your wad on everything and now you don't have any money for the part that plays games?

Overclock your HD4600 while you save up for a 380.

Does OCing increase the graphics proformance

Also realised the MOBO is wrong on the pcpartpicker http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132118&cm_re=ASUS_Z97-A_LGA_1150_Intel_Z97_HDMI_SATA_6Gb%2fs_USB_3.0_ATX-_-13-132-118-_-Product

Yes, the HD4600 overclocks like a beast. I use mine when I'm between GPU's, like I am at the moment.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

r7 265 ?

That's just a rebranded HD 7850, which is only marginally better than a SINGLE GTX 460. Op is going to have two 460s. When you're looking for low-mid range GPUs it makes little to no sense to buy new, unless you like bleeding money.

Trying going for an HD 7870 or GTX 660 at least to be honest. 560 and 460 performance will be lack luster at best.

erm just go buy a gtx 950 its basically the same price

$70 =/= ~$130+

Will do, The computer is on stock cooling ATM, so not going to get much of a OC, (the mobo already OCed it a bit)

Fine, what would you guys recommend for cheap?

Unless the 560 is twice as powerful as the GTX 260, I would grab a Radeon 7770, which go for about $55 used. They're about as powerful, afaik.

And they're dead quiet. Whereas the "Thermi" cards will be hot and loud.

You can find 6950s and 6970s for around the price point you're looking at, those are slightly more powerful than a 7870, and go for about $90. Going lower than that performance bracket would be kinda... sucky.

The iGPU won't create that much heat when overclocked. Google the HD4600 overclocking and you'll find a bunch of guides. But with that CPU you want a 380 minimum.

Not with a i5 it won't. The shadow distance would have to be dropped to medium.

good point, talking on the 4790K standards.  Still a pretty hefty card though.  Sometimes with shadows in the desert-y part of the world you could squeeze out 50.  In the city areas though, as you said.  It struggles with lighting (Godrays, shadows etc.) and it can drop to 15FPS
