Well...... Ive got two options either buy a computer with beautiful Aesthetics and a Mid range graphics card gtx 770 (The whole design is Red and Black and all the parts look beautiful together

OR I can buy a ugly computer with a 7990 also my parts are not top of the range except the graphics card, Also I may have sacfriced alot for the graphics card.

Ask Linus? :P

Make it look nice AND perform well. Otherwise, you're doing it wrong.

Edit: Also, I'm pretty sure I composed a build for you already in one of your topics with a 7970 CF that looked quite nice.

You should go for the 7990 because a case is cheap you can always get a better looking case afterwards. And there are cheap good looking cases out there too.

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K 4,6GHZ OC MB: MSI Mpower z77  RAM: Kingston Genesis 1600Mhz CL9 16GB

GPU: ASUS R9 290 Direct CUII  PSU: Corsair AX 860

I'd second waiting for the 9000 series.  What does the rest of your build consist of?  Perhaps, we can recommend a rig that does both if we know your budget.

I would go with the performance side, but I would personally wait for the 9000 series to release before buying a new system.

tbh, with red and black theme, its basically the easiest theme to pull off, as its a rather common color used in components. so you can still go for the better performance route and still make it look good with your colors of choice.

Performace

Although you can go for performance instead of looks, but you can have looks too if you go say same manufacturer for mobo and gpu and stuff like that

For example I just ordered the part for my first build and I didn't have much of a budget, so I went performance over looks, but I got msi gd65 and an msi 760 with corsair vengeance ram with black heat spreader, which should match pretty good since everything is back and red

But yeah go for performance and find a way to make it look good :D

Performance all the way man, do you build a rig to admire it? You build it to game on it!

Meh, I'm pretty sure just black is the easiest theme.

actually, i dont think so.....its fairly hard to find something that is 100% black, components  usually have accent colors all over the place msi usually has blue, asus red gold or blue, gigabyte and asrock tend to do black, but with asrock they tend to use a brown pcb, so black i think is actually a hard one to properly pull off. but you can get away with some of it. im just picky i guess.

It's even harder to pull off something that's 100% black/red.

If a 770 is considered low end for you then go for aesthetics. Have it powerful and look good doing it
