The best laptop for year 12 school work

Zach's Tech Tips

Hey Linus community, just wondering what laptop you believe I should get to suit my need for going into grade 12.

The minimum requirements that my school has asked for to run the programs Ill be using are as follows.

- Core i7 processor

- at least a 256gb ssd

- does not need a dedicated gpu

- 8gb if ram

- windows 7 or later

- needs to be thin and portable

Anything on top of that are just extras

Ill be running programs like autodesk inventor and revit, unity and stuff like that

My budget for this laptop is $2200, i already have one in mind which is the lenovo yoga 900 (currently on sale for $2200)

but what do you guys believe I should be purchasing.

One last note, the laptop you list has to be available in Australia ans is $AUD

Thanks

Zach
