Ughhhhhhhhh

So rumors saying Summer is next year?

What type of Calendar is that?

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

Seriously why is this Jen douche walking around in a leather jacket? He thinks he's a rockstar or something? He looks like a bully with a midlife crisis. I guess that describes NVidia's proprietary anti consumer strategies quite well.

None the less, hopefully they will talk about Pascal and put some numbers up there.

I really hope there's going to be a shield portable 2. Nvidia usually releases a new shield device every year. I'm not sure what else they can put in the shield line, and the portable 1 is pretty big and bulky...

Follow the topics you create using the "Follow" button in the top right corner!

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

I want to see them announce that they got an X86 license.  That'd just make the world explode.  @patrickjp93 would have a heart attack.

So if you click the link and head to the bottom, it looks like they're just going to talk about VR and driverless cars...

They will talk about more than that I am sure.  They'll probably announce some Quadros or Teslas on the Pascal side, and maybe, just maybe Geforce stuff.  Maybe.

so the car is going to need a secondary rad to cool their system xD

I'm a car guy.He mentions placement in the trunk. It would def need a separate cooling rad and fan. I was thinking tie into the cars cooling system, but that would be way hotter. Would be nice to use the heater core in the winter, but would heat the passengers in the summer. For custom car people, expect that rad to dissipate heat into the trunk onto audio amps and components. For regular people, expect frozen groceries to have accelerated de-thawing.

i am a car guy as well thats why i brought it up. i assume they are going to build the rad into the car body if this were to come out for a normal car. seeing as it would be a more efficient way of cooling the module.

In the stream, Jen talks about how it's possible with a Titan X(that's what they're using for their platform right now), does that mean they're doing mainly/exclusively single precision computing tasks? They'd have to be, otherwise the Titan X would fall flat on its face.

It made me think to myself, "I wonder how amazing it'd be if it didn't have the gimped DP." but if it is using single precision, that is definitely interesting.

Not at all. I'd crack a bottle of Armagnac and drink to my ability to short Nvidia into the floor. Without the IP from AMD, Nvidia's Denver is very far short of competing with Intel's I3s outside of Geekbench (mostly a web browser benchmark: http://www.pcworld.com/article/3006268/tablets/tested-why-the-ipad-pro-really-isnt-as-fast-a-laptop.html).

There's a reason I want AMD to die: increased competition. While it would be easy to make money just living on dividends from Intel until the end of my days, it's just not that satisfying or entertaining.
