CX750m + 980 good?

My CX850M still give me nightmares even though its only inside my dual Pentium III rig. Damn near fried my GTX 970+Z97 Sabertooth when it killed my USB 3.0 card.

Basically, it works. That Power-supply Should not be used for long term use. So your next upgrade better be a power supply.

No. Change it.

underclock it and run it at stock speeds,

as long as your not pulling a hella lot of voltage or making the psu over heat then the psu should be good as gold

Stock i5 4440, and I had it running with the same setup off a 400W PSU. So less than a 50% load and it started killing stuff..

my i5 is 4.5GHZ at 1.33V my 980 is 1536mhz at 1231MN

cx/vs/cs are for basic office builds, not gaming/overclocking/enthusiast

get an evga gs/g2/gq/b2,xfx ts/xtr,seasonic, antec, superflower unit when you can
