refund my 390x

So currently I am having problems with my new MSI 390x, with all the reviews and benchmarks I watched they all do not match up. My card runs at 94 degrees and 100% fan speed at 100%. I have tried setting a fan profile using the MSI gaming app and nothing has worked. The reviews I watched and the people I asked said it runs at 72-74 degrees at 40% fan speed. Should I refund my card and get an GTX 970 or even try again by getting a sapphire 390x

Ensure that your card is receiving air and is able to adequately exhaust air. Make sure there is nothing obstructing the fans from spinning, and make sure you are on the 15.11.1 or 15.12 drivers as 15.11 locks the fan speed to 20%.

Check your airflow. There might be something wrong with the card, Its not unusual.

Did you actually take a look at the fans and make sure both are spinning? I can't see them from this angle. Also, move that front 120mm down to the bottom slot and please, for the love of god, clean up those cables.

That is certainly not ideal, but it should not cause problems to the extent you are describing.

Defintely, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's causing the high temps.

only 1 intake that isn't even getting the air to the card? Those cables are awful as well

EDIT: Nevermind, no intake fan and the GPU is fighting with the PSU for air. What exactly do you expect?

Yeah, it looks like your front fan is blowing out of instead of into the case. That will murder your gpu performance since it's starved for air.

Ok, flip that front fan around, its still sucking air out of the case, and mount the rear fan on the bottom, blowing air into the case (before anyone says anything, the CPU fan will blow air directly out of the case).

Having Two front fans with airflow INwards would be best as suggested.

I'd take the back fan and put it on the front.. (Even if only to compare situations)
