Best case that would fit my needs

Jesbro

Hello LTT community,

It's been over a month with my new GPU, and lately it's starting to heat up my computer quite a bit. I've taken a look inside, and I now realized that the GPU does NOT have any airflow, and the lucky CPU cooler is the only one blowing out air. So, I'm not sure if I need to get case fans, or plan on getting a new case completely. Here's my build for reference:

CPU: Intel Core i5-750 2.66Ghz Quad-Core Processor  (Purchased For $0.00)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 380 4GB Double Dissipation Video Card  ($213.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  (Purchased For $0.00)
Total: $213.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-12-19 01:57 EST-0500

And here's a picture of the poor GPU warming up inside: http://i.imgur.com/2d0G8zz.jpg

So, if I need to switch to a new case, which one is the best under $120? I also need it to be AT MOST 21 inches in depth/length, and has to have AT LEAST one optical/DVD drive.

All help is appreciated! Thanks!

Corsair 350D/450D

Is there a difference between the two?

a new case would be good. A spec-01 is 50$

How many fans does that one bring?\

I've been eyeballing on that one...though size might be an issue with that one.

tbh, just a case will not help your issues. a case and CPU cooler would be a

better thought to help in CPU cooling.

name branded would be:

corsair 350D

corsair Carbide 88R <-- $50 from newegg

fractal design arc mini r2

and a cooler master 212 plus or evo CPU cooler. you can look to a cheaper case,

but eventually, these are the top mATX branded cases. others seem to either have

connectivity, cable management, or cooling issues.

350D is a mATX case while the 450D is a mid tower case.

the spec 01 has 2 top, front and 1 rear. all being 120 and all but the rear being able to support a 140

Hmm. Know any cases in the same price range as the 88R?

There's a lot of cases out there. For really good cases though, you have to spend a little bit more to get a good case. And what I mean a good case is: Robust build quality, excellent cable management, good ventilation for cooling, and ease of building into it. My personal favorite which I just got at the time of posting this, is the Corsair 900D. I love massive cases and this is what I consider my absolute favorite after checking it out at Fry's Electronics not too far from here 'till they stopped stocking it for unknown reasons. I'm going to review the case as well. Good cases that aren't super expensive are the NZXT H440, the Corsair 450D, the Fractal Design Define R5, and the Corsair Graphite 730T.

Um...what about any good cheap cases? I'm deciding between the Source 210, Corsair 200R (dunno if I should get 300R for future upgrade), Rosewill Challenger, Cooler Master HAF 912, and N200.

I'm not sure about any good cheap cases. My firsthand experience with cheap cases was with the SPEC-02 case, and that wasn't so fun to build in. If anything I would go for the 300R you mentioned.
