I want to photoshop a christmas hat onto this gif:

gif was kind of large, so thats why spoiler tags

Where would you put the hat?

on the two extended eyelids obviously. one hat on each

I hear that photoshop has layers and stuff

here ill take a screenshot but i honestly have no idea how Photoshop works soooo

turn the gif into pictures, edit them, turn them back into a gif

 

I know, but it's gonna look really weird if you don't get rulers and percisely measure it all. You'd have the hat jumping around and... Whatever.

1. Split the gif up into frames, position the head on each frame. Recreate gif

2. Create gif with the headpositions (only the head) with everything else transparent. Use addition modifier (or any other overlay method)

Machines take me by surprise with great frequency

I'd make it more, but I like the simplicity of it.
