sure xbmc isnt made for piracy but i think that is the primary use for it now

KODI..is just a media player...you might as well say vlc is a piracy tool then

i dont use it but i have a friend who uses it to get pirated content easily

Yeah if you choose to add 3rd party addons to it for that specific cause.

 

Which then, we can refer to my post earlier, does that mean Microsoft is condoning piracy by allowing software to be installed which can help an end user obtain and consume pirated content?

 

Is it not really exactly the same issue?

and kodi isn't telling you on their site to install addons that allow you to watch movies for free

then why do people have a problem with piratebay im pretty sure they have legitimate content somewhere on their site

But the addon's sole intention isn't for piracy, so it is the same principal. I'm not "trying" to be a smart ass, I'm simply pointing something out.
