Just got hated on for saying one gpu is better value than another...

refinedskillz

I was talking in the youtube comments with this guy who built his new PC, i told him an R9 380 would've been better value for his needs, and he said "stfu you amd sucks , nvida (Yes, nvida) is the best it rules."

So im sitting here like, umm right, and he then sends me a PM asking me whats the diffrence between the two cards. I tell him clocks,VRAM, etc. And then he responds with "ones nvida and one amd u dumbass" I respond with: "Well thats kind of obvious." And then he told me to get new eyes (????) and fuck off. So i did. Jesus.

Probably thinks AMD's shitty CPUs also means they have shitty GPUs.

GG, you met your first mental midget on the internet.

Now, go grab yourself a cup of tea and a digestive biscuit to mull over the kind of stupidity that is allowed to exist in this world.

Well nvidia's shadowplay is amazing but that's the only reason imo to consider buying a nvidia card. Unless you're going for a titan x or something.

Not quite. Some people require CUDA, which right now is Nvida exclusive. Also, AMD have an equivelant to Shadowplay - it's called GVR. It's essentially the same thing, a video encoder on the GPU which you can use to record/stream videos/gameplay etc.

This is what we call a fanboy.  One who simply states a company sucks without logical reasons.  One, like a lot of people on this forum lately, who believe that their opinion and bandwagon hate are above facts.

For example, I could say that Intel's are shit because 9370>i5-3360m.  It's not a fair nor a logical reason at all, and only supports an opinion rather than facts.

I could say that AMD is shit because Nvidia has the Titan X which is > 250.  Same logic, it's called being a fanboy.

I wouldn't really say any of them have shit products, but all of them have products that I don't need nor suit my purposes.  There are purposes where FX is better than an i7, but unless you utilize the FX for said application than there's really no point in getting an FX.  Same can be said in the GPU area between AMD and Nvidia.  But, you have fanboys and bandwagon haters like someone above and even the person you tried to deal with, who just auto-hate on what they don't like because they believe the world revolves around their three-year-old ideology.

When people buy products for the wrong reason or bandwagon hate exists, you get people with that childish mentality.

I've got mixed feelings between the two, As long as price to performance is good, it's a good card. I don't give a million f*ks if its nvida or amd or 3dfx or what. As long as it's good.
