Looks like it was as much as $99 but even 20 or 30 dollars off on a 70 dollar item is a good deal.

720p minimum for webcams are my requirement. Everyone I've asked, prefers a cleaner image to see, and so do I.

 

I don't even have one now, or use em anymore... now that I'm back on Adsl2 from Fibre.

 

Brilliant when on Fibre, sending my capture to 6 different people and have them all say its sending all frames and its smooth as silk.

Sure, you could go with some yum-cha 240p/360p variant, but then it fucks with the desk aesthetics, the only part that would look screwed up visually in comparison

 

There are reasons... you just have to use a shitty webcam & a newer one to see what your missing.
