What's your rank? I was LEM, but I quit playing for a while and lost my rank. Played one game and got put at MGE. Working my way back.

I did try, one of my friends was really into it (2600 hours logged) and we played together for a little while and I hated it. The community was so toxic, I had never seen anything like it.

you don't play much online then. at all 

 

Also there is a difference between community being toxic and community complaining about noobs in their games. If you play with a person who has many hours played and you queue together you probably run around like a headless chicken. Like you wouldn't be annoyed to play 4v5.

Its really not that bad, I've had 1000's of hours online. It's far from perfect though........

There is also a difference between disliking a player and using racial slurs, direct insults, innuendoes and swearing to convey your displeasure.

The community isn't why you should hate a game, especially if it gives you the option to play with people you know in real life. 

Unlike in League of Legends, you can destroy friendships in that game lol

nope, there isn't really. It's just the amount of rage being displayed since there is no voice chat in League you have to use the strong words.
