I am looking to buy a gtx 970 and I want to know which one I should be looking out for. There are some that are going to be under 300 dollars, I'm also wondering what you guys recommend! If you have another card that you think I should consider to buy let me know. Thank you guys!

Does this perform a little bitter? I have an AMD so don't think it's an issue lol. I also render videos so I'm guessing it will help due to the 8gb,

It is rather power hungry.  That 550W PSU should be okay though.
