Intel PAX Prime Maingear System GIVEAWAY!

A SSD is a necessity for a computer these days. Too frustrating to use one without.

I'm a relatively new Linus Tech Tips fan. I discovered the channel only a few weeks ago while going over my specs for my first rig, and I just found out about the forums because the of the video posted a few hours ago about this giveaway haha. I've been saving up for my first rig for a while now, but it would be nice to be able to win one of these gaming rig giveaways for once  :D

Being that I've never built a rig before, I don't know much about what my preferences would be. Right now I would have to say the priority would be price vs. performance. If i'm going to be paying 200 dollars more for something that only give me a 5-10% increase in performance, I am more inclined to pass on it and get either that or its successor further down the line.

(I'm not sure if I did any of this right hahaha)

Awesome give away! I like gaming rigs that I can update and future proof to keep playing at ultra settings. Also ones that dont suck up energy like a succubus. I've been eyeing maingear rigs, their shift and epic systems are pretty boss. I was thinking of getting one but after watching some of your vids on youtube I am also liking the idea of making my own, never done it before looks like fun! Anyway thanks for the giveaway goodluck everyone! *crosses fingers*

Right now, i'm just looking for a gaming system in general :P simply because i don't have one.

but mainly if i were to build my own rig, i would consider graphics horsepowers and build quality.

What i Look for....i'd say a beefy PSU just in-case if i want to make some upgrades later on i would have the power to do so. Graphics would have to come second

My ultimate gaming system would need to make full use of a 120 Hz monitor, running most games on High-Max. My current rig can manage about 100 FPS on BF3 maxed out, which, although shy of 120 FPS to match 120 Hz, is as close to an ultimate gaming rig as I could budget.

The only thing to look for in an ultimate gaming system is simply it's raw power.
