Whichever one is best for the money. My previous (and first) GPU was an AMD R9 270 from MSI. It was a great card for the $160 I paid for and fit in my budget nicely back then and satisfied my performance needs. I then upgraded to a GTX 970 because it was the best GPU around the $350 mark and I wanted to try out Nvidia. As for my next GPU, I might go AMD, not sure though.

Right now, AMD. I also don't care for gameworks/gsync.

It's generally the best cost to performances option. Especially if you don't have $800~$900 for the "best of the best". (980 ti in Canada..)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200

Civilized response?

I personally use AMD because I do not mind the extra heat, I have used them in the past and do not feel like changing, and they seem to handle older games better.

AMD...

Right now Maxwell and Caribbean Islands are neck to neck and whatever advantage Nvidia might have isn't really worth it.

generally, when one starts a discussion topic there would be some sort of reason

you'd ask the community to discuss about it, rather than a X vs Y flamewar starter

topic.

This thread will only start (yet another) endless mud-slinging match of argumentative

trolling and flaming. Thus, this thread is locked. There are plenty of threads like this

on the forum already if you want to read the answers.
