Those two are the best performing 770's from memory, in my opinion the ASUS card has better aesthetics, but I would go with Gigabyte because of my own loyalty to them. I would also consider the lightning 770 purely because it looks amazing in my opinion

Edit: I was looking at a 770 also, but I'm really looking forward to the R9-970 or whatever. It looks like it will offer outstanding performance(Titan level) for the price of a 770 to 780

I am good at computer

Most of the 770 models are within 5% of each other performance wise, so it won't matter all that much in the long run. Get whatever fits your build visually the best, or pick a manufacturer that you prefer with good warranty, customer support, price, etc.

MSI Lightning in my opinion with the gigabyte right behind it. I would find a comparison of the MSI the Asus but I already know the Asus gets it's ass handed to it by MSI.

I've heard great things about EVGA ACX. You can get the Superclocked version right now for $399.99.

Ordering my MSI 770 TF tomorrow, if I'm in the crazy mood I might just pay the extra $60 for the lightning.

I'm the one who overclocks.

4gb versions of a 760 or 770 doesnt beat a 2gb version by an even little at high resolutions, look at benchmarks. That's like saying. 7970 is equal to a 780 because of its vram is the same. Cheap mid range cards with extra vram is nothing more than a rip off. If you are going for a 4gb 770....get a 780 or 770 lightning. If you don't want a lightning and get a 760 HAWK which is close enough to a 770 and it won't cost 400-420 bucks. Reviews I have read say they would get a 770 lightning or a 760 hawk over the 4gb versions of either card.

Get the cheapest one with a dual/triple fan cooler. The small differences aren't worth the extra money.

I'd go with the EVGA GTX 770 w/ACX, purely because of how good it looks. The differences in performance between the cards is pretty small, and just getting a better GPU by chance could make it perform better than one of the others. As long as you get a custom cooler, you'll be fine. Just go with aesthetics.

The gigabyte windforce is great, one of the highest clocks out of the box, runs really cool and quiet. Its also one of the cheapest 770's
