Probably a reviewer, someone got one from Amazon early, etc. No idea honestly. There have been screenshot leaks and info leaks the past day or two, but it was from some guy using a Spanish version of the game, these look like it's from someone else.

 

Garry's mod graphics?

The capture isn't that great and it is played on consoles. It'll more than likely look better on PC, but it's a wait and see. It is a bit cartoonish, but it doesn't bother me that much at all.

Yup, I heard about the spoiler ones, but all I could find were these, so I decided this would be the best four to share for gameplay viewing. If anyone would want spoilers they can look for it themselves haha. I'm staying away from those though!

Honestly if you've seen the E3 showcase then you won't be spoiled at all. However, if you do want to not be spoiled by anything then you can watch the 3rd and 4th videos, they are only gameplay, some hacking, and showing the perk chart since the guy leveled up.

There's a thread AMA from someone who got an early copy, someone asked how he got a copy early his reponse is that his Xbone was malfunctioning and took it back to Best Buy to exchange it, Best Buy gave him a Xbone bundle that comes with a copy of Fallout 4. Not sure how others are getting early copies, but this is how he got his.

Does anyone know what difficulty he is playing on because it seems too easy. I want to take more damage from them and for them to be more aggressive.

I'm not sure what difficulty he is playing at, but I'm assuming Very Easy/Easy. It has the same difficulty choices as past games, however Bethesda didn't implement "Hardcore" mode, but there is a "Surivial" difficulty which supposedly just makes the game even more challenging but still doesn't have food/water/sleep being needed like Hardcore mode did.

 

So, I'd expect the game to be very challenging on Survival, but also from rumors the higher the difficulty the higher chance for better loot from enemies.

Personally the dialogue wheel is a huge step backwards for me, so I agree with you on that one. I don't plan on keeping the dog with me, so it doesn't matter much to me. The voice actors, from what we've seen/heard so far, actually do a pretty decent job, but I'm really hoping for a mod that removes the MC voice and dialogue wheel.

 

It does sadden me that I can't self-insert like we have been able to for the past decade+, so I don't plan on customizing my character at all and by the time mods come out someone will take the initiative to bring that back.

 

Having said all that, these aren't huge gamebreaking issues, just immersion issues, and everyone has pretty much been saying the same thing. So hopefully Bethesda learns from this mistake and possibly does their own patch later on, otherwise mods will fix it. I know that isn't the best answer for this situation, but there's not much else we can do since the game comes out in ~7 days.

In response to A, This has been happening for years. Most modern RPS's have quick responses like this. Each generation of console simplifies this to a greater extent. Not a fan of it myself.

 

In response to B. Did you play Fallout 3? Dogmeat died in a stiff breeze. No point in having a companion if they die the first time you see combat. And the companions, like all the installments are fully optional. There's even a perk for not having one. So chill.
