Firefox Users Migrating to Google Chrome

According to the data, by the end of July Firefox claimed an 18.3 percent share of all desktop browsers, which denoted an 11 percent decline over the past two months. Conversely, Google Chrome's user share stood at 17.8 percent, which was up 2 points since May.

Which camp do you prefer? Are you going to switch browsers like the data suggests or are you happy where you are?

Firefox has a lot of stability issues with win64bit so waterfox is needed.
However I really dislike the lack of privacy & tracking that goes on with google chrome and that's why I refuse to use it.

I once used Chrome, but then it began performing extremely slowly, so I switched to Firefox.

However, I'm now in the process of switching back to the new version of Chrome. When it's running great, it's just faster and easier to use than Firefox, to me.

That must have been an old version, because I haven't noticed any issues in the current version.

I use both Chrome and Firefox.

I use Chrome as a daily driver and Firefox when I know I will be reading alot - because Firefox has better (cleaner, sharper)  text rendition.

Firefox frequently crashes for me, perhaps it's the stupid flash plugin, but I made sure I updated all things flash.

I use Chrome, but I use to be a huge fan of Firefox and I used it on all of my devices. I really loved the themes made by the Firefox community, some of those were really awesome. However, after a lot of peer pressure and becoming an avid user of everything Google, I switched to Chrome. I will say that I never had any compatibility issues with Firefox or anything like that, and I still think it's a fantastic browser.

May the Force be with you.

Am currently using Chrome, switched from Firefox. I usually switch every few weeks between browsers, but Firefox is still my favourite, I can't wait for the Australis update to make its debut. Main advantages of Chrome are the build-in Flash (one less thing to download and care about updating) and the tab management; when Firefox or a plugin crashes, it crashes for good.

I am reluctant on losing my firefox. I actually use Pale Moon right now, perfect for my win7 x64 install. I have tried chrome and have it still installed, but I miss the flexibility I have with firefox / pale moon (like simply move the tabs below the address bar, which is impossible with chrome). And in combination with the IE tab plugin (and off course a whole lot more) its the perfect fit for me, really.

However, firefox does have his bad sides, like memory hogging. It can go up to 2gb of ram use (yes, I have a lot of tabs opened, as well as a lot of pale moon sessions).

Life is too short to unplug USB safely...

I use 3 browsers, all with different purposes, Firefox with script blocking, tracker blocking, sandboxed, etc, for dodgy websites and the huehue stuff, Google chrome for this and that, I.E for streams and such.

Like Chrome more than firefox because of its fast startup time.
