umm... no... Northern Ireland is a part of the UK, Ireland is not.

I was being sarcastic. I know full well that Northern Ireland is part of the UK. Maybe wasn't apparent in my :P but still, you have to admit that few people on the mainland think of Northern Irelanders as really being from the UK. We give the Welsh enough flak.
