why do girls walk slow?

Humbug

I usually carry a 4-15kg pack... maybe that's the reason...

I'm rather weak myself, but wearing a fully-stuffed schoolbag (around the weight you just mentioned) does not slow down my walking speed, only slows down running and makes me exhausted more quickly when running. Heavier weights than that can be understandable for slowing someone down, but it shouldn't really matter that much if they are carrying it in a backpack or messenger bag.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

I haven't really noticed women walking slower than men. In fact, I actually noticed the opposite...though it really is different for each person. I generally walk slower because it is difficult to keep up with the long strides of giants.

I don't know man. Everyone walks slow like some NPC you have to escort in a MMO from my point of view.

When I usually go with someone alongside me and I go so slow it is uncomfortable and I feel weird walking like that they still tell me...Maaan slow down I can't keep up!

Yesterday I went to city on foot with my friend and it took us 25min... When I go alone it takes me 5min...

Also... Is everyone else a kind of "third wheel" when walking with 2 people, meaning that for example on a sidewalk you have to walk either on grass, on road, in a ditch, or behind them? I swear there's more that suffer from this than me...

It's really subjective, mostly depends whether someone's in a hurry or not. Generally, height and shoes might slow girls down.

Happens to me almost everyday. It's pretty irritating when you have to dodge stuff or walk off road.

I get slowed down when carrying a pack for extended periods...

I am not that tall to begin with and my stride is only between 0.7-1.1m depending on mental state and equipment...

The heat and humidity does not help either...

It's called window shopping.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Have you done that (carry heavy-ish bag and walk) for an extended period of time, like several weeks? You can get used to it. Also is your bag loosely being carried or is it tightly enough to not sway around when walking? If it's too loose, it can slow you down.

My laptop bag somewhat sways around when running, and I feel like I get exhausted a lot more quickly than if the bag didn't sway like crazy. It doesn't do that when walking though, so doesn't matter there.

The bag itself poses little problem since I do it almost daily...

The bigger problem is the heat and humidity... It's very uncomfortable to tighten the straps since the bag traps the heat coming off my back and makes a hot day feel even hotter and this in turn drains my stamina quicker...

I didn't walk fast until I worked in a grocery store on my feet all day every day. So I'm going to extrapolate from my limited experience and say because they have never had jobs that requires them to move around a lot.

I have two walking (and driving) styles: "I have nowhere to be" and "I got places to be."

"I have no where to be" generally means I mosey around, generally to the sides and out of the way, just taking my sweet time, usually thinking.

"I have places to be" generally looks like road rage, where I'm constantly thinking, "Oh my GOSH, people, GET OUT OF MY WAY. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DICK AROUND, I GOT PLACES TO BE." When I'm in this mode, walking behind a slow person can is akin to being in a 35mph zone while the person in front of me is going 30.

I think what's most annoying is when you got places to be and there's a group of slow walkers taking up the entire hallway.

From what I've seen, the girls who stay in groups walk at excruciatingly slow paces, in order to keep chatting away for as long as possible. The girls I hang out with (the introverted ones) can easily keep up with me, because they don't feel the need to prioritize banter. Also, they're not wearing thigh-crushingly tight jeans or high heels.

I've seen plenty of people walk really slow, slow to the point they look like their not moving. And then they have their friends line up next to each other blocking everyone from the back from passing.
