go intel plz, prefferably i5 4690k. You will see minimal performance boost, but once you get a fury x, you should be good

... im not an intel hater but i am a bit of a AMD fanboy also to switch to intel i will have to change MOBO as well as CPU so thats a no go

also fallout "requires" a 9590 CPU

sell it. I have an fx 6300, I plan to get r9 390 although it will bottleneck. I plan to upgrade cpu later. You will see a huge massive enormous bottleneck with a 9560 and fury x. Fury x is pointless if you don't wanna go intel. BTW, the power consumption is gonna be outrageous

like pokechat said you'd be better to go with a i5 4460 and the cheapest motherboard you can find than this old grandpapa cpu you amd fan call god

ok so i should just stick with the setup i have until i can drop 4+ grand(being a bit obnoxious) on an intel/nvidia machine

but i guess if im talking serious should i just wate till ddr4 is the standard and the 2011-v3 socket has dropped or should i start investing in moving to intel now

a new gpu will treat you better.  However I would say a 390, not a fury x if you want to stick with AMD.  Simply because for the price of a fury/x you could get a 980 or 980ti instead which perform a bit better for the same price.

Break the rules then :D the only good things FX CPUs are for are budget workstations. Intel + AMD almost always works better for gaming.

Why do you think that AMD must go with AMD and Nvidia with Intel? There is no real reason.

Well then fucking bottleneck your Fury X with that amd cpu shit or wait until you can get a new Intel + Nvidia setup. If you're not open to new things that may very well be far better, then you might as well not have made this thread. Intel CPU + AMD GPU = Great Gaming. But if you want to be stubborn, bottleneck that Fury X or hopelessly sit and wait for money to appear, I personally don't give one shit.

DDR4 is a bit faster than DDR#, stick to DDR3.

Dude, even an i3 in gaming can go agosnt an FX 9590. Also you WILL have to get a new mobo if your VRMs are not good, if not the FX9590 could be a fire hazard. A i5-4690k or i7-4790k and EVEN a Xeon 1231v3 will be WAY better then a FX CPU. Also, AMD works fine with intel. Like nvidia works fine AMD. Get one ofmthe CPUs suggested along with a cheap Z97 ( if you get a K chip ) or H97 board if you go with the Xeon. Then, later down get a nice R9 390 or 390x and if you got the money 980Ti.

No idea, You can find a blacked out mobo from MSI and Asus and possibly Gigabyte. PcPartPicker.com has all these options.
