GPU Sag - Whats your solution?

So for the longest of time (or atleast since i got this PC) I've had a problem. I'm a Sagging-GPU Owner

What is your solution to this?
Are you too, a Sagging-GPU owner?

yeah my 280 is sagging a bit too. But I don't think its a too big problem to put a pole or something under it

I read in a forum that a guy used Lego bricks to build a column under his GPU to solve this problem, so I decided to do it as well. It works!

My solution is to ignore the problem and pretend it doesn't exist.

 

But I suppose a radical change in case design could solve this problem by mounting the motherboard a different way

Adding a really heavy waterblock onto it

 

My 780ti already sagged a bit because of the heavy zotac cooler , but now it's on a  whole other level...

I'm sure if you contact them they will ship it to you if you pay extra, companies are usually quite nice about things if you contact them.

 

 

 

OT: My 980 sags a tiny bit, but not a whole lot so it doesn't bug me really.  I made it so the tubes slightly pull up on it from my CPU block.

 

Mine sags kind of towards the very end of the card, the PCB seems to be slightly curved downwards after the PCI-E slot ends.

What I do is I wrap the power cables as tightly as I can at the back of the case so that the card is being held up by the tensile strength of the cable.

I think your real problem is the cable management

Yip. This case doesnt evens have 1 inch at the back for cable management. Its literally only a few millimeters before it its the sideplanel

Or for the cheaper solution, mount it lower, buy a can of black plastidip, ask for extra chopsticks next time you order Asian takeout and cut them to size, then paint them.

I have the power cable for the gpu running out of the top right mobo cutout in my Air 540.

 

On the other side of the case, i have it zipped tied up to help keep to GPU straight, bit of a ghetto solution but it works for me.

My solution is the corsair 250d case that has the GPU oriented upwards so theres no sag
