Gigabyte is pretty good

the cooling is nice and the OC guru software is pretty easy to use.

If you want to know what the best card is, the Kingpin is top dog, then the Lightning / HOF Ln2 follow it up.

Matrix will most likely be a bit shy of the Kingpin.

Before someone tries to argue that the Kingpin isn't top dog, there's a reason why it's destroying the benchmark leaderboards.  The proof is in the pudding as some would say.

To be honest, you could pick any of the above and be fine with it. Also, PNY has bad customer service but they only sell the reference model so whatever.

Zotac's AMP! EXTREME Edition is the fastest clocked from the factory, MSI's Twin Frozer is the quietest, EVGA has a good all round offering plus a warranty that doesn't break if you're replacing the cooler with a waterblock, and so on. Each company has its good and bad. Find out what works for you, because the rest of us don't know what exactly you need.

Also, Zotac's 980 Ti is absolutely enormous. It won't fit in some cases.

Adults are just kids with bigger wallets.

INFO

  • I do not care about noise
  • Run at coolest temperature
  • The fastest one
  • I do NOT want EVGA's model

Have a thing against EVGA? Weird.

Though, the Kingpin is the best model. Too bad for you.

MSI's are nice, the new EVGA Hybrid one is super nice, lots of others are nice.

I used to be quite active here.

Well the 980 ti Classified is going to be about the fastest, without spending TONS extra on a MSI Lightning. What's wrong with EVGA? They are the best maker for Nvidia Cards

or i mean if you want the fastest... you can just go Titan X... which is mostly EVGA again but ASUS makes this one as well vvv.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121923

and honestly the price difference between the entry level 980 TIs and Titans is several hunderd dollars but when your comparing the high end 980 TIs like the $900 KingPin an extra $100 for a $1000 Titan is much easier to justify...
