I like my Xbox One. I understand that graphically it is inferior to the big beautiful rig on my desk, but it has games that I want to play and ease of use to match.

The wii U is the only console from this generation I own at the moment. It's the only one with 'console' games and an experience focused on quality gaming over competing with PC graphics with terrible results. 

Love smash. Oh it's 1080p 60fps just like most TVs. 

Love splatoon. Not 1080p but it's 60fps

Love mario kart 8. Also 60 fps. 

See a pattern? They try to focus on gameplay and experience first, then make it look as good as possible. 

How the fuck does a tri core power PC based console have games that run and look better than the ps4 and xbone?

Consoles are nice if you have to rent most of your games. That's why I have a ps4. The games I do buy I get on PC.

I am currently. I grew up very poor. I just manage what little I have, and I have some nice things. People who have more money than I do live shittily because they can't manage their money. In the US, if you have a job, even minimum wage, and you live on your own, and you can't manage....likely your fault. Lotsa butthurt coming form that but it's the truth

The Pisspoor is straight up more limited than the PS3, its APU only has the slight edge in graphics with the CPU side of things being far slower than the Cell processor in the PS3 which was capable of being used in super computers to great effect. Also build quality.

Well I live with my mother she broke her leg almost 2 years ago and she still cant work because of it and I have chronic fatigue syndrome so I am unable to attend school a LOT of the time and I have been fighting for the past 2 years just to stay in school if I get kicked out of school my mother doesn't get money for me being in full time education meaning that we have to live of £70 a week which is very hard here in the uk.

Ok, I'll ask people this. Does the Xbone use Nichicon capacitors like the original Xbox? Does it have a nice tidy layout? Is it easy to mod? Can it play all games without an internet connection?

Also, look at the list of Original Xbox games that support HD, such as 720p (60FPS) and 1080i (30FPS):

I got about 2 hours of sleep a night.  I made the choice to sell a lot my things and teeter on the edge of homelessness to be able to attend college as well. After she came home, I worked as much as I could. Shitty humiliating jobs when I've made much more before. Guess what? In combination of that and some other sources, I not only keep a roof over our head, I actually have enough money to get what I want and/or need. I have a pretty nice PC setup, and other nice things. Some other things happened shortly after her diagnosis that, if it weren't for taking care of her, might have offed myself. I've had fever dreams every night for more than a year now, and every single time as I begin to wake my stomach sinks as I remember reality.

And yet I was able to take care of her, myself, and still attend full time (20 hours, actually) of classes. Sure, it was possible that I might have had to quit college, but either way I would have managed to keep a roof over my head. And I live comfortable. Worked minimum wage for a while, and now that I feel mentally more fit, I lay carpet when I can and I'm trying to get back into computer work. 

Hang in there. You'll make it. Of course, where you live, there's a higher cost of living, and the social safety nets are much different. But you can make it. 

 

And having been through this my original statement was from that perspective, not directed at people in actual hardships, but people that are "poor" with quotes, you know, work full time jobs, yet can't make ends meet while pissing money away doing things like buying starbucks or smokes every day, each coming to 150$ a month. I mean little shit. People that unlike us don't have any excuse. Bitch they never have money but they really could if they wanted to
