Will minecraft story mode be free for people who own minecraft?

Since it's called story mode I kinda presumed it would be a free download for anyone that already owns the game, but I haven't heard anything like that so now I'm guessing it won't be.

I would assume not, it's an easy way to extort more money from your userbase. And Microsoft sure want to earn the money back they spend on Mojang (and thus Minecraft)

from what i've seen, its a completely seperate game.

 

see it as half life 2, and HL2 episone 1 and 2

No. At best VERY unlikely and maybe a very small discount or....something. 

 

 

 

Its....a Telltale game. It would be like expecting Tales from the Borderlands to be free if you owned Borderlands.

It's not. Looks like a game is being made based on minecraft by telltale games. 

 

Its not "actually" minecraft.

I'm conflicted. It's telltale, which are amazing, but it's a story for Minecraft....

Ah.

I am as well. I still have two others from telltale I need to play anyway.

Borderlands, a wolf among us, and finish walking dead....
