980ti idle temps

NEVERMIND... i just found out that it was nvidia shadowplay causing it to stay at high temp went from constantly using 1101mhz to 135mhz after disabling it... -.-

my evga 980ti idles at 63 degree with the fans doing 300 odd rpm and i was wondering if that is normal.

i'd change the fan curve to be a bit more aggressive. do you care about noise?

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

no its the superclocked/ acx 2.0 one

Probably not considering my card idles 50 on 0 rpm I mean I know my cards not hot but 63 idle is definitely not normal just ramp up the fan speed a bit more

well the fans arnt supposed to kick in until it hits 65 but i thought if it isnt being used for games and such it would be sitting at like 30 or 40

used a fan curve and now its on 48-49 degree curve

it's normal - the fans are barely spinning since there is no load.
