Can you somehow change the led colors on this gpu?

I'm talking about the g1 gtx 970. Is it possible to mod the color in anyway? (trying to go for black/red theme). I don't care about voiding warranties and risks

 

You can but it's not a very simple task you need to desolder, purchase and solder on some new SMD LED's here a guide that goes over it:
