The csgo reddit is actually pretty good. 

yea its not bad but better there where its more specialised for cs stuff only then here when this is for pc gaming in general not just cs :/

Well, its a gaming sub-forum. So, i'd imagine any game is fine. But yeah, he does post too much csgo. Its not like he's the only one posting on the forum lmao

I just got new laptop this month, so do I, I used to Windows 7 more, Windows 10? Didn't see what's really new and good here.

Pretty much. So much hate for the game on here. You can't say you don't post a lot of csgo stuff, though. I usually just go to reddit if i have any issues.

I think it's more the frequency of your CS posts more than anything. People have given you advice that you should post certain things as statuses rather than starting a thread about it. You might get a better reception then.

Sorry to hear about your problem O.P. I haven't been affected by Windows 10 automatic updates, because I have them scheduled and I also have my desktop setup so that when I'm playing a game Windows cannot update while a game is opened. Good luck O.P. also by the way Valves CS:GO servers has been poo poo lately.

Hopefully the issue get's fixed, seems it is actually VALVE EU servers.

IF the high ping was caused by windows downloading updates, wouldn't every online game suffer from this problem on W10? If it isn't, it is more likely to be caused by CS:GO doing something that doesn't quite work on W10, as other online games aren't affected.

You're basing that on the rumors you heard of MS putting in anti piracy measures.

It has since been confirmed that this is an XBOX One Thing (Yes, the Xone's OS is actually called Windows 10, just like the phone and tablet version), and not a windows PC thing, as it would be vastly impractical to detect whether or not software is illegal on a platform where software can be sourced from many different places, rather than from just 2 (in case of XBOX. Disc & MS's own store).
 
It's fine to complain about W10 because it made your boot slower (although it made mine a lot faster), but don't start accusing it of things it is not capable of doing without your consent.

I was fed up of it also and went back to windows 7 this afternoon, It deleted my programs? Thinking they were bad&pirated? Also used to tab me out of games for random emergency updates which I couldnt stop (Causing me to get a 7 day ban in CS:GO Once...) Which shut down my pc for. And it uses 100% of disk on every startup each time. It also took a hell of a long time compared to Windows 7.

Windows 10 Boot from nothing to Complete Desktop - 49.32

 

It was tremendously slow and caused me numerous problems. I did clean install it, Twice. I'm using a 2TB Hardrive as I have no SSD, I was on a budget.

if your getting boot times like that

then something is wrong...cause no matter the hardware...10 totally boots faster then 7

For some people, I did clean installs everything, But Windows 7 always worked faster. I prefer it anyways.
