Windows, because fuck Apple.

Wtf is with their explorer stuff? I mean windows explorer is logic and gives you access to everthing in a logic way, i tried to understand apple's way, but i couldn't get used to it.

I mean taking a look at files of a game is like rocket science, something difficult in can't do.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

Ehm, you can't make that comparison. Apple is company with many products. Windows is operating system. So if you want to compare companys, it will be Apple vs Microsoft. Or for OS' OSX/iOS vs Windows.

Yeah me too.

I use OSX just as much as I do Windows.

They're both great.

For work I use OSX and for home I use Windows.

OSX = programming/developing web API's/web browsing.

Windows = Basically Gaming/internet browsing.

Also I like Ubuntu a lot too. But that's mostly server stuff.

Ubuntu Desktop 15.04 is really nice. But it lacks the game support for me to switch from Windows.

yes.

osx = school (microsoft office, webbrowsing, programming, reading and editing pdfs (osx really beats windows here))

windows = home (gaming, webbrowsing and sometimes editing videos)

No, you're just ignorant and didn't take the time to learn OSX.

I bet you had a comparatively small amount of time spent on OSX compared to Windows?

If you actually learn the ins and outs of OSX you can access anything you damn well want.

And a lot of things are actually easier for power users. (apart from the toggle of showing/hiding hidden files)

Also the OSX Terminal is the best terminal. No question about it.

inb4 locked

Yup.

where's linux?

amirite?!?!

Yep. This.

I use Windows for the things you need horsepower for (gaming and video creating). and a Macbook air for coding/ssh server management, which doesn't require so much horsepower.

Also things like Photoshop and Illustrator on both.

Screw terminal, i don't like DOS :D

I gave it a try, multiple times, i tried to copy some mods into a game for 4 HOURS and for some stupid reason it wasn't possible.

It was legit a copy paste task on windows, but in OSX it's a nightmare and i just gave up, took me half an hour to figure out how to get into the game files.

Also, in windows documents are in C:\Users\username, in OSX you can't do that in an easy way! it's always a very long way around to get there, i mean an explorer is like the most basic thing and the OSX logic is like, i don't get it. A right mouse button would help a lot!

amirite?!?!

I used OSX for a over a month and got to know it pretty well

Its not bad, but the way file management works, installing programs, and modifying registry is just not for me

I prefer to have all the system files in one place so that I can just modify which one I want

And not have to use a terminal for low-level modifications

Oh and btw for programming and terminal linux is way better than OSX

And I know because I used linux for 3 years :)
