I did a laptop, hdd went bad. Once they received it they replaced the hdd in 1 day and sent it out. It was very fast and the repair facility and I are in Socal. So depending on where your at and where it's going will greatly affect the turn around.

I RMA'ed a laptop. Took them 5 weeks to send me a new one (of which the keyboard backlight didn't work) because they didn't have new keyboards in stock. I send it in for a broken speaker...

Did you get your authorization yet? Do you know where it can go?, you may have a choice.

Just found this on the RMA submition form:

  • Pay close attention to the return shipping address. Different ASUS product lines return may have a different repair center location. If the product is sent to the wrong repair facility expect delays in processing your ASUS RMA.

Neither did I for a crucial RMA. They gave me free express shipping hahaha. Three days. (including a sunday)

 

But hey if 1 month for a component RMA is ok for you than that's all that really mattered.

I've done 9 RMA's to Asus this year. Took 2 days to get there, 3 days for them to do their thing and 3 days to get back to my shop. All of them except 1 which was on a holiday week

well i wasnt going to wait even if it was half a week so I just bought a new motherboard+CPU and RMAd the old ones

I bought a RoG laptop with a DOA GPU once.

It took them walking me through every single way to preform a fucking power cycle over the phone but they eventually took it and sent a new one. Whole process was about a month.

The person I was communicating with when going to RMA my Asus H87M-Pro came off as a condescending jackass.....so yeah I don't think their customer support is good.

I RMA'ed my motherboard 2 weeks ago, just got a reply saying that the eta for a replacement unit is on the 25.
