Did you plug the HDMI/Displayport/whatever cable directly into the GPU instead of the motherboard?

I take it that the only thing that has changed is the case? Double check ALL connections and component seating first. If you need to, completely dismantle and rebuild. Is there any chance that you could have pinched a cable with a screw somewhere?

^this, 10/10

Try uploading another video, of the inside of the case. film it in a well lit environment so we can see if anything isn't plugged in.  (like the 4pin CPU power cable, etc)

Unless I'm mistaken that's a dead motherboard.  It clicks on and off like that, meaning that is most likely the problem.  Alternatively it could be the PSU, it may not be outputting enough juice, or it's just dying.  In all likelihood that is a dead motherboard btw watch Linus' video on making the router, spoiler alert, his mobo dies and I kinda guessed it before he said because when he tried to power it on something very similar to what is happening to you, happened to him.

Another thing that maybe happening, is that everything isn't firmly plugged in and that could be the issue.  Make sure everything is plugged in, and if it doesn't work I'm gonna say that's a dead motherboard.

Did you reset the CMOS? It's possible the case intrusion thing is acting funny.

how does one reset the CMOS, my motherboard is the asus p8z68-v

There is somewhere a button battery, remove that and pull the power cord for a couple of seconds, take 30-60 seconds to be sure. After that put the power cord back and put the battery back and try to boot again.
