  1. does it state anywhere in AMD's EULA that it is sold to 3rd parties for advertising purposes?
  2. maybe these numbers will start to change if enough people realise that Nvidia are making money out of harvesting their data.
  3. I doubt that but he will definitely know what you are watching lol
  4. It clearly states that they allow 3rd party ad agencies and social media companies to collect information about your use of the website and that they combine personal information that they collect about you using these technologies. That is blatent information harvesting purely being used to make themselves more money.
  5. hahahahahaha they have always looked bad to me, this is just the icing on the cake.
  6. ^^^ this. I think it will only be a problem on the cheaper end of the market, and only then if the card is being overclocked. I think more is being made of this than is strictly necessary.
  7. My 295x2 pushes the supposed power limits far more than the 480 ever will. Look it up. My board has not blown up, caught fire, started world war 3 or invaded poland.
  8. I got a new mouse for xmas, nothing special but the missus bought it so I cant replace it yet lol. A keyboard would be awesome though as my current keyboard is old, membranious (I dont think that's a word) and pants.
  9. so if this is a " thank you to the racing community around the world " does that mean it will be free? I have never had to pay out to receive thanks before that I know of.
  10. I expect that this will be an HDMI output, not input.
  11. I don't think there is any way to hook it up as a second monitor, but you could use Synergy which would allow you to control it via your pc mouse and keyboard a little like a kvm but you just go off the side of your pc screen to use it on your laptop.
  12. I think maybe that the cable is a low noise adapter, not an extension cable. This cable reduces the fans speed to combat noise.
  13. I have just had a quick look at windows backup on windwos 10, and that allows backing up to a network location so that's good. Google Chrome has a remote desktop tool which will allow you to control your "server" pc without having to have keyboard monitor and mouse connected to it. I find it works well for my needs. Your welcome, I am just sat here watching jayztwocents latest upload lol
  14. I use mine more as a media storage unit, I am not sure about actual backup functionality but it should be pretty easy to set up
