GPU FAN NOT WORKING! XFX R9 280 HELP!?

Make sure they are plugged into the pcb? Make sure the bios is stock? Contact the seller?

I've just completed my new build and my gpu fans have stopped working after 1 day of use.

Here are my specs:

AMD FX 8320 w/ CoolerMaster Hyper 212

ASUS M5A97 R2.0 MoBo

8GB Hyper fury ram

XFX R9 280 GPU

 

I purchased the gpu used from ebay....

It was working fine at first but when i started to play Mortal Kombat X The fans stopped working and now i cant get them to start again. Any suggestions as to why this might be happening? Or have i just bought a shitty card from ebay? i hope not as the gaming perfomance was great when the fans were working.

I was trying to look for replacement fans and i couldn't find any? Would i need a specific fan for my card? Or could i search the diameter of my gpu fans?

all you need to do is take the shroud off

He could just water cool the card to if he wanted to then throw a OC on it

Okay false alarm. Turns out that the fan header had come loose inside the card. I just pushed it back in and i'm up and running again haha
