[Steam weekend deals] Saints Row ultimate franchise pack 80% off

SAINTS ROW ULTIMATE FRANCHISE PACK IS 80% OFF ON STEAM THIS WEEKEND!

Link to the madness

Not a bad deal at all if I may say so, has a lot of DLC as well as the first 4 games, just lacks Gat out of hell, although I'm not well versed on my saints row games.

Ahhhh, i remember playing Saints Row on my Xbox 360, then Saints Row 2 on my PC, Saints Row The Third & Saints Row IV were just plain bad...

The whole idea around the game just went downhill after the second one.

The Following Text Is Filled With Spoilers! Read At Your Own Risk!

You should get an Xbox 360 and get the first one and then the second one on PC. The first one is centered on you being a street kid who one night gets picked up by a gang called "The 3rd Street Saints". You embark on a mission to free the city from the other gangs who are exploiting the citizents of Stillwater and are just plain bad guys. You manage to do this, however in the final mission your gang leader betrays you and you end up in a coma, his reason for doing this is beacuse the noble Saints as they once were, were turning into the other gangs, drugs were still being pushed, innocent people were still being killed.

In the second game you wake up on the prison island in a coma, one of your previous gang members (Troy) went from undercover Cop to chief of police, and used his powers to keep you alive against the courts will. You also find out after breaking out of jail that the Saints had fallen apart and 3 new gangs had taken their place, you need to find your crew, and build the Saints back into the powerhouse they once were, going against all the 3 gangs that now rule Stillwater and the corrupt orginization known as "Ultor".

The first 2 games carry a much deeper and more meaningful story than the first ones. And they dont have intergalactic or hacking shit in them...

Tried getting into the series a while ago. It was pretty funny but the free roaming felt bland and it was just a pretty bad game.

Wishing leads to ambition and ambition leads to motivation and motivation leads to me building an illegal rocket ship in my backyard.

Honestly I feel you guys should just play gta if you don't like the new ones. 4 Sucked but had an epic intro, but I thought 3 was great. Great deal, bought it about a year ago 9 out of... no... I'm better than that.
