Retail dvd with OA key

Hey guys,

After windows 10 downgrade screwed out i have no recovery partition. I have the sp1 iso for my version and bit of windows. When i install it, can i use my OA ley inder my battery to activate it, and if it fails does phone activation still work since windows 7 mainstream support ended?

i just moved my system from an alienware x51 to a proper desktop, using OA keys didn't work for me

I don't know if this is legal, but you can use slmgr commands in cmd to deactivate the key and then activate it on another PC.

Yes you can use the OA key. This isn't XP anymore.

Thanks! If i find my recovery partition backup sometime, can i do the factory reset and the license will still be valid?

Success! Im defiantly not putting 10 back on after that screw up. Imma test 10 on a separate hdd and swap. Then when im happy, ill upgrade
