I tried making a Desert eagle animation in After effects

This is my first time trying to do some sort of animation/motion graphic with after effects, so uh yeah, not much else to mention here...

I also made an extended version that looks a bit "eh"

I spent most of the time actually drawing the assets for it in photoshop lol

I'm surprised how easy it is to get the hang of after effects, I literally only watched half of a tutorial and then I started working on this

I think the best part is that they loop pretty well lol

 

It's obviously not perfect, so what can I improve on in the future? I know the case ejections have a weird trajectory and the "fast" shots look pretty wonky, so what else is there?

uhhh crap, uh I've been known for being really (really) bad at keeping promises for requests, unless you want to wait for months with the slight offchance that I'll actually be bummed to do it, uhhh
