well its not a rat 7 or a rat 5 but its decent for the price

rat 7 u can change size of it and i think rat 5 might have some size adjustment but not as much as rat 7 and then ofc there is the rat 9 which is a wireless rat 7  and then there is like MMO version lol but ye rat 3 is fine for a starter mouse

I liked my R.A.T. 3, and had it for over a year after it broke on me. It's got loud clicks which I didn't like very much, so I went with a similarly priced Dragon War G8. Just to try a brand I've never heard of before, and to be honest, it's one of the best I've ever had. I've used Steelseries and Razer in the past, but this is extremely quiet. Ideal for night gaming sessions.

I have used the RAT 3 at my friend and I hate it.

Feel cheap, too small and just overall not comfortable (and not ambidextrous, but that probably doesn't bother you)

It's so tiny it should be called the mouse. All jokes aside at that price range there are better mice and I would've gotten something like a M65 or Sabre by Corsair.

Compared to similarly priced mice....Yes it might let you down

For example:

If it doesn't affect you in games then it won't really matter

Can't you extend the mouse or something back, so your palm would not hang off? Or is that only a feature in 'higher end' MC mice?

Performancewise, no, RAT 3 doesnt have the best A3090 implementation but it is still okay in compoarison to "chinese stuff", i woulkd suggest 1800cpi for the best performance. If it is too small or not is something you have to decide for yourself, on the upside it is lightweight given actual width.

I went over to a store and tried them out once. They're interesting mice, the button placement is in my opinion quite good. The only gripe I have is the angular, detached feel they have. I don't think it would be that comfortable for me to use one for extended periods of time, and bear in mind that I have very average, one-size-fits-most hands. The mice look as if their design focus is more on aggressive looks rather than functionality or ergonomics. And I hear tell that their software and/or build quality isn't up to par with many other mice, which is discouraging for me given their price tag. Ouch.

If you hold it right its quite comfortable but the hard part is getting the right grip
