Is the EVGA K|NGP|N GTX 980 Ti worth it?

Spookydoge

I have been considering this card for a while, even though it is more expensive than the more mainstream G1, Strix etc. ($850 with 72% ASIC quality). It has Samsung memory which I have heard is better than the standard memory. I will be doing a lot of overclocking with it and it is not too much more expensive than the other models. Tell me what you think.

Any support is appreciated

imho it's really not that much worth for the cost you are paying for the card.

Get G1 gaming.

It's good for overclocking capabilities.

K|NGP|N was mainly meant for extreme overclocking using LN2, which is what made the man, K|NGP|N famous in the first place. Over the last few iterations, EVGA has really dropped the ball on the K|NGP|N series, and there are many other cards that can do the same job for cheaper. If you really like the aesthetics of card, and think it's worth the extra cost, then by all means go for it. If there is another card you like, 100% go for the other card.
