Hello Guys and Gals, today I'm pleased to announce my brand new build! Which I've named The Bleeding Panther!

Before I get into it, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone whose helped me out on the forums, whether it be with parts, or where to get great deals. Thank you!

Now, let's get into it! I've been planning this build for about a year and a half, jumping between here, reddit, and elsewhere. It's seen many iterations, from z97 to x99 even to z170 before I quickly went back to Haswell-E, but it's finally reached a point where I feel comfortable buying everything. Now for the reason I got this, well first was streaming, gaming, and 3D rendering, but for school I'm in a computer science class so typing essays will probably happen too.

Mods

I do plan on modding this build in a few different ways! First, I'll be repainting the G1 gaming card since the silver on the card doesn't match I'll be Plasti dipping that part. The next mod that's happening to this build is cable sleeving and cable training (if that is considered a mod). This next mod was suggested by someone on reddit. Since I don't the thin and grooved tubing of my cooler, I should take some flex tubing, cut it down the middle, and put the coolers tubing inside of the flex tubing.  Lastly, I'll be looking for anyway to make rubber grommets for the openings that aren't grommeted on this case.

(I might add more depending on other peoples ideas)

I know you probably have reasons, but the sp120s are pretty bad fans.

Ideally you'd be getting noctua or venturi fans. But those are just a little bit more.

No, the trade-offs weren't worth it. I'd rather have a few more cores and skylake doesn't impact gaming performance and with 3D modeling/rendering I'll want the extra cores.
